Looks good, but the patch is missing a changelog. I wouldn't bother splitting it out,
just merge this patch with the first one in the series.

+		The /sys/devices/soc directory contains a sub-directory for each
+		System-on-Chip (SoC) device on a running platform. Information
+		regarding each SoC can be obtained by reading sysfs files. This

+		This directory contains two kinds of attributes:
+			- Common attributes:
+				* machine: the name of the machine (e.g. Ux500).
+				* family: the family name of the SoC (e.g. DB8500).
+			- SoC-specific attributes:
+			  	* SoC vendor declared, such as serial and rev numbers.
+Users:
+		Any platform dependent user-space applications or profiling tools.
