There are few kinds of error about open/close brace is reported by
checkpatch.pl:

ERROR: open brace '{' following function definitions go on the next line
int
megasas_sync_pd_seq_num(struct megasas_instance *instance, bool pend) {

ERROR: else should follow close brace '}'

So fix them all.
