There are 5 line over 80 characters, is this acceptable or should I obey
the checkpatch.pl strictly?

for example this line:
[tab] [tab] [tab] ret = thermal_zone_bind_cooling_device(thermal, i, cdev);

I think keeping this code in one line seems neatly.

I have update it to remove "over 80 characters" warming, so no warnings

git repo:
http://git.linaro.org/gitweb?p=people/hongbozhang/kernel.git;a=summary

branch:
ste_thermal_v3.5_rc6

The 80 chars warning is more of a recommendation than a rule.

For example: never linebreak error messages, since people may
grep for them.

A zero-line commit message for an entire new driver is *very* thin.
Take this opportunity to describe the hardware and what it can do
on a high level and some words on how you implemented it.

Apart from that it's looking vert good to me!

Linus Walleij

Linus,
Thanks for your suggestion, I will follow this when I back to work next
Monday.
