So, the spi->chip_select[0] & spi->cs_gpiod[0] will hold the CSO value and gpio descriptor of CS0 respectively. To prevent any existing spi driver from breaking, replaced all spi->chip_select and spi->cs_gpiod references to spi->chip_select[0] & spi->cs_gpiod[0] respectively.
