Front panel ports are presented as regular ethernet devices in U-Boot and they are expected to support the typical networking commands. DSA switches may be cascaded, DSA class code does not currently support this. Port traffic is filtered and the test verifies that ping works only on enabled ports. The additional interfaces require MAC addresses, these have been added to sandbox default environment. ENETC PF6 is the 2nd Eth controller linked to the switch on LS1028A, it is not used in U-Boot and was disabled. Ethernet port aliases were also added to better manage the multitude of ports available now, and to enforce the order in which master and slave ports are probed.
